Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club is heading back to Spain — and once again, it’s much more than a trip. The Queens-based powerhouse has announced its return to Madrid for the club’s third annual international experience in partnership with Internacional Players & Coaches (IPC) and EF Huesca, running from February 13 to 22, 2026.

This exclusive 8-night program gives select EPSC 2011, 2012 and 2013 players the opportunity to train, compete, and live like professionals in one of the world’s most historic football cities.

Players will train under the guidance of Real Madrid’s coaching staff at the club’s world-class Ciudad Real Madrid facility in Valdebebas, just outside the Spanish capital. Known as one of the premier training centers in global football, the complex is home to Real Madrid’s professional and academy teams — a place where excellence is part of the air.

The trip will also include three competitive matches against top Madrid-area opponents, including one La Liga Academy team, as well as a live La Liga match experience, stadium tours of both the Santiago Bernabéu and Atlético Madrid’s Metropolitano, and guided cultural and educational excursions across the city.

EPSC coaches will travel with the teams, working closely with EF Huesca’s professional academy staff to provide individualized training and mentorship. Players will participate in sessions led by elite Spanish coaches, including those from EF Huesca — a respected academy that has developed talents such as Mario Mitaj (Al-Ittihad) and Selou Diallo (Deportivo Alavés).

“This is a lifetime experience for the players that they will never forget,” said Josete Abarca, CEO of Internacional Players & Coaches in Huesca, Spain. “It will only increase their love of the game and fuel their passion to reach even greater heights. We’re thrilled to be part of this journey with EPSC.”

Founded as the youth division of the New York Pancyprian Freedoms, Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club (EPSC) carries a proud legacy within New York’s Greek-American soccer community. The club represents more than four decades of tradition and excellence, serving as a bridge between local youth talent and one of the most successful amateur soccer organizations in U.S. history.

The New York Pancyprian Freedoms, EPSC’s senior affiliate, have captured three National Amateur Cup titles (1982, 1983, 2023), three U.S. Open Cup titles (1980, 1982, 1983), and have consistently ranked among the top amateur teams in the nation. That winning spirit runs deep in Eleftheria’s youth program, which focuses on player development, discipline, and cultural pride — blending New York City grit with European football values.

“This program represents what we stand for as a club — development, culture, and connection,” said Billy Antoniou, Executive Director of Eleftheria Pancyprian SC. “We’re not just sending kids to play soccer in Spain; we’re giving them a world-class education in football and life. Our players come back more confident, more inspired, and more united than ever.”

Now, with the Madrid 2026 experience, Eleftheria Pancyprian SC continues its mission to give players from New York City and beyond a pathway to compete, learn, and grow on the international stage, proving that local players can dream global.

New York Soccer Ledger

New York Soccer Ledger is the independent voice of the city’s youth and amateur soccer scene — the stories no one else is telling. We shine a spotlight on the players, coaches, clubs, and communities driving the beautiful game across the five boroughs, from scrappy park pitches to college showcases and semi-pro rivalries. Our coverage is raw, real, and unapologetically local. We celebrate passion and performance, challenge the politics that hold the game back, and give power to the people who make New York soccer matter. Because the city doesn’t sleep — and neither does its soccer.
